I am not concerned by what shoes you wear. Whatever makes you comfortable is fine. I don’t have a shoe fetish. I have a hair fetish. As long as you don’t cut your hair, we will be fine. I am really looking forward to this week. We are going to have so much fun. I guess we have a lot to talk about in between make out sessions.
I am going to run and go to the gym. There is a horse race on TV today I will probably watch. Otherwise, just hanging out. You?
That is my Food Emporium. I recognize all of those places. I would have been very surprised to see you in the neighborhood. I hope I wouldn’t have grabbed you and kissed you, but it is possible. I have been wanting to do it for more than a week. The opportunity might have been too great to pass up. Greet as friends, save the rest for private.
I’m glad you had fun yesterday. I knew you wouldn’t make any mistakes. I looked at the place. It’s a tavern but doesn’t look like a dump online. I guess you care more about the acoustics than whether the walls are brick or not, etc. so, I assume the people who show up are friends and family of the band, those who follow the blues and the regular costumers of the venue? Keep in mind that the blues is kind of old-fashioned. Now, if you were playing Katy Perry, well then you’d be really be packin’ ‘em in
I hope it will actually rain today so that I don’t have to water the plants. The tomatoes are pretty far down the drive, so I will have to use the hose.
Oh my
I miss you. Do you want to meet on Monday instead of Tuesday? Same time and place? That way things will get more spread out too. I didn’t think I could do Monday, but since the week-end plans have changed, I think I can. Let me know and I’ll switch some stuff around.

It is all friends and family. There were not many regulars. In time, we will build a bigger audience. We do not do enough marketing. I sent out facebook invites and passed the world along. The others did the same. I don’t push it that hard though. I don’t want anyone to feel obligated. I never go see their shows so I can’t ask them to come to mine. If we were playing Katy Perry I wouldn’t be there. I play for fun for me. That way something good comes of it. I don’t even care about the acoustics. I just want a chance to play.
I love that people leave the city in the summer. It makes for shorter lines and smaller crowds. I wish they would all leave.
It doesn’t look like you are going to get rain. Get out the hose. That actually could be fun.
I miss you too. I have been thinking about you constantly. We have to stick to Tuesday. I have rehearsal on Monday night. The next show is in a few weeks and we have to learn lots of new songs. I wish I didn’t have to wait to see you.
Me too : ( but it’s only one day.

Why not? It sound like fun going to people’s shows.

If you played Katie Perry, I would have talked to you : )

Misanthropic much?! I get you, takes one to know one. I love it too. One can get reservations anywhere!
With a hot new girlfriend like you, it isn’t my head that is swelling

What time are we meeting on Wednesday? This mother whose kid I invited for a sleep over with Nadia (since Isabela will be away) is giving me shit about not being here in the evening although my housekeeper will! The whole point of the sleep over was for me not to feel guilty about leaving Nadia alone, so there is no way in hell I’m staying. But I need to give her exact times when I will be gone. What’s your time frame?

Me too, about 9 sounds good. Maybe we can take a cab up the west side, drop you off, then I’ll go up to River Manor. How early we meet has to do with what happens with this moronic mother. Are we just going to Gaslight or are we doing a museum, gallery, etc.?

I thought we would meet at Gaslight for drinks or dinner. Weather permitting, we can check out the High Line Park. I will find something open in the evening as plan b if it rains. Maybe the Rubin. The cab will work well. You can let me know on Wednesday.

Did you ever travel abroad during college or after?
It’s a plan about Wednesday. Let me ask a few questions on Sunday, and get back to you as to the time to meet.

I have been to Europe a few times, and Mexico if that counts. I love Amsterdam, Paris not so much. Ireland is beautiful. We go there to ride horses. It is a lot of fun. There are still a million places I want to go. There are a lot of places in the US I want to see too. I would love to travel more. We are discussing a trip to India.
It wasn’t until after college. I worked so much during college I could have never taken the time or spent the money. I hardly remember school. I just remember lots of work.
We are meeting at 4:45 on Tuesday, right?
XOXOXO
It’s funny, we never talked about it. Although, I do remember you telling me about going to Ireland to ride. I’ve never been to Mexico, but want to go. Why didn’t you like Paris? Paris is weird for me, it’s the city of my parents, the city of sitting with them in their depressing apartment, watching French game shows. The first time I saw them do it, I was like OMG my parents are old game show watching people. What happened to my glamourous good looking diplomat and his lovely wife parents?! Did they even exist? I have mixed feeling about Amsterdam. I love Keukenhof, this unbelievable garden. And I mean unbelievable. Central Park, even the Versailles gardens are nothing compared to this. But I don’t like getting high in public per se, so it was like why isn’t everybody dancing in the streets? Why does it feel like such a tourist trade. I was surprised that the restaurants closed so early, like around 9. The bars were open, but they never seemed very friendly, and all the menus were in Dutch script on black boards! I couldn’t read a word of that. And you have to understand, I’m the more adventurous one of my husband and me. It’s good if one has friends there. I know a family from there now, but they are very conservative. He probably never, and she hasn’t smoked pot since college. They barely drink one glass of wine. I loved London and Berlin though. I think you would like Berlin. It’s very alternative as they like to say.
My cousin who travels a lot came back from India, and hated it. Imagine my surprise because I always wanted to go to India, see the Taj Mahal (which is btw Persian really via the moguls), the orgy temples and the monkeys, but he said it was dirty, crowded and very poverty stricken. I asked if he had gone to a nice hotel, and he said yes, but unless you just stay there or on the resort, or insulate yourself in a car, etc. you can’t really be among the “people.” And he had also been to China and had eaten dog. In NY, he stayed at a Comfort Inn in Long Island City, right across from the subway tracks, so he is no faint of heart. Research it, but perhaps somewhere like China, Morocco, Thailand would be more enjoyable. A lot of people are going to Cambodia these days; it’s as fashionable as Costa Rica was some time back. Too bad I don’t get to travel that often anymore.

I find Paris very unwelcoming. The west bank is a little less annoying. We also had a few bad experiences that may have prejudiced us. Regardless, there are plenty of other places to go.
Amsterdam on the other hand is very welcoming. The people are friendly. The city is a reasonable size and the art is fantastic. I don’t go there to smoke. I got plenty of that here. The food there is awful. You were lucky if they closed before you could eat. The trick is to keep the visit short. We usually take trips from there to Belgium. Three days is the max. I never even heard of that garden. If we go again, I will have to check it out.
My wife has been to India. She commented on the poverty, but also the beauty. It is a rough travel no double. We will see.
I want to go to Berlin. I am a big fan of the art that comes from there. It has an interesting history.
