Almost four years ago, I fell in love for the first time--twenty-five years too late--and began an affair. Over the years, Kevin and I have met several times a week and email several times a day. I have kept almost all of the emails that I sent to him and that he sent to me. Along the way, there has been laughter and tenderness and heat...and heartache.

This blog is the posting of our daily emails. It chronicles the lives of two people over a four year period so far, and tells the story of our burgeoning love against the backdrop of New York City.

How are you today?  I hope the weekend didn't take too much out of you.  Company can be exhausting.  My mom is coming in about 2 weeks.  It will be hard work. 

I am not going to be able to get out during the day this week.  At least not for any length of time.  What is your schedule like?  Do you have any evenings free?  It looks like this is going to be a very busy week.

I can meet you for lunch anytime, anywhere : ) How about that restaurant you had found some weeks back but instead we went to Gaslight? That place looked really cool. I had cleared my entire afternoon for us. I thought after the last time, it would be nice for us to reconnect totally. So, I was thinking that if we went to the Waldorf, we could just grab something there. They have a couple of restaurants at the hotel. But it's completely up to you. As long as we're together that's all I care about. I miss you so much Shiny!!!! I miss that hard cock in my mouth (Did I just say that?!) What can I say, it's true : ) I can't wait to see you.
